I’d love to recommend playing soccer ( or other enjoyable pursuit) with a co-Ed group of young and older ones that always unhesitatingly and fairly divides into two teams that will have great fun that day. And always be in the next ‘bracket’ the following week, assured of a place in the ongoing tournament of healthy camaraderie.

Chris, why am I not surprised by this? Seriously, our first work in Australia 20 years ago came when I got invited to Perth by the mother of a woman on the Australian national team. I've always felt that sports--even competitive sports with the competitive side under control--can do a lot for social change. But don't eat your heart out. You weren't the first Obie to do the homework.... We'll be talking with your soccer pal Joan Blades when she gets back. It turns out that she inspired our friend at Australia reMADE via MoveOn.
