As someone who attended the same event, you did an amazing job summarizing the way I think most of the attendees felt about the three days we spent together. For me and my wife, I think we found it quite a moving and powerful experience to be in a room for three days with a group of people who largely all share the same common values and mission - namely to bring some civility back to American society and to find a path forward to engage in open minded conversations with individuals who have different views than our own. As someone who does not come from an educational institution background and who has worked in the entertainment industry (which has a slightly different set of values!) for most of my professional life, I was never made to feel that whatever comments I did make were not relevant!

Over the three days my wife and I met some truly wonderful people, yourself included and look forward to not just looking back and saying "that was a fun three days" but hopefully being able to look back in 12 months' time during which we have all hopefully done something more to move the needle forward!

Thanks Craig. I’m glad that you and Deborah had your own great introduction to a world that isn’t mine either. We aren’t going to let the personal and political relationships that got started last week die on the vine. I had emails with Ben and Emily this morning and will keep up with them after they have respective board meetings this week

The session with you two was fascinating - a wonderful example of practical work that compliments the academic/theoretical thinking that makes up my day-to-day world. I look forward to seeing where this all will go.
